Creating Appointments Using the Mobile App

Overview

The Punchey mobile app allows you to create and manage appointments directly from your mobile device. Whether you’re booking clients in the field or managing your schedule on the go, the mobile app makes it easy to create appointments quickly and efficiently.

Appointments can be created from either the Bookings section or the Calendar view within the app.

Why Is This Important?

Creating appointments through the mobile app helps your business:

  • Schedule customers from anywhere

  • Keep your calendar updated in real time

  • Streamline booking and checkout workflows

  • Quickly assign services and staff resources

  • Collect deposits or generate bills immediately after booking


Creating a New Appointment

Follow these steps to create an appointment using the mobile app:

  1. Open the Punchey App

  2. Navigate to either:

    • Bookings, or

    • Calendar

  3. Select the + icon to create a new appointment

  4. On the New Appointment page:

    • Select the customer’s name

    • Choose the appointment date and time

    • Select the service

  5. A pop-up window will appear prompting you to select a Calendar Resource

  6. Select the appropriate resource and choose Continue

  7. Choose one of the following options:

    • Save Appointment

    • Save & Generate Bill

    • Save & Collect Deposit


Confirm the Appointment

After saving the appointment:

  1. Return to the Bookings section

  2. Select the appointment date

  3. Verify that the appointment appears on the schedule

This confirms that the appointment was successfully created.
