Run SignPad on Your Tablet or iPad

Overview

Punchey SignPad allows you to securely capture customer signatures and display transaction details in real time during checkout. By connecting your tablet or iPad to your Punchey account, you create a seamless and professional in-store payment experience.

Using SignPad improves both efficiency and customer trust. It ensures that customers can review and confirm their transaction details before completing a purchase, while also securely capturing signatures when needed. Keeping your SignPad app and device updated helps prevent interruptions and ensures compatibility with the latest Punchey features.

Before You Begin

Make sure your SignPad app and device meet the latest requirements:

App Versions:

• iPad: Punchey SignPad v1.31

• Android Tablet: Punchey SignPad v1.29.3

Device Requirement:

• Starting July 8, all iOS devices must be running iOS 18.4 or later to continue using the app

Check your device settings and update if needed before proceeding.

How to Set Up SignPad

1. Select Your Register on Desktop

• Log in to your Punchey account on your desktop

• Select the register you want to use for transactions

2. Log In to the SignPad App

• Open the SignPad app on your tablet or iPad

• Log in using the same credentials as your Punchey account

• Select the same register you chose on your desktop

3. Set Your Security PIN

• On your first login, you will be prompted to create a 4-digit PIN

• This PIN helps secure access to your SignPad device

• Make sure to choose a PIN that is easy for your team to remember but not easily guessed

Using SignPad During Checkout

Once setup is complete:

• Process transactions as usual on your desktop

• During checkout, the payment and transaction details will automatically appear on the SignPad device

• Customers can review the details and complete any required actions directly on the tablet or iPad
