How to Activate a Gift Card at Checkout

Overview

Activating a gift card in Punchey is quick and intuitive. While creating a new invoice, simply open the Gift Card Manager, enter or scan the card ID, assign a value, and complete the process—then the card is immediately ready as a payment option at checkout.

Steps:

1. Start a New Invoice

   • Go to Checkout and create a New Invoice. 

   • This is where you’ll add items, payments, or a gift card.

2. Open Gift Card Manager

   • On the right-hand side, click the Gift Cards button. 

   • A pop-up window will appear.

3. Enter Your Gift Card Number
   

   • Type in your Gift Card ID (or scan the QR code if available). 

   • Click Next.

4. Add a Value to the Gift Card
   

   • In the Gift Card Value box, enter the amount you want to load (e.g., $50). 

   • Click Activate Gift Card.

5. Done
   

   • Your gift card is now active and ready to use. 

   • It will appear on your invoice as a payment method.

✨ Tip: You can also check the balance or top up your gift card anytime from the same Gift Card Manager screen.
