How to Click-to-Call using your Smart Number

Place and, if you choose, record outbound calls directly from any customer profile in Punchey. No soft-phone or browser plug-in needed: we dial the phone number you specify, automatically call the customer, and connect the call. The caller ID shows your Smart Number, not your personal line.

Outbound Calling

When you click the phone icon next to a customer, Punchey first rings the phone number stored in User Account & Phone Settings. Answer that call and we immediately dial the customer, dropping them into the conversation. Your ring-to number can be a mobile, desk, or office line; the customer always sees your Smart Number.

One-Time Setup

  1. From the dashboard, click your name (top-right) ➜ Account Settings.

  2. In User Account & Phone Settings, enter the phone number you want Punchey to ring first.

  3. Click Save.

Heads-up: Every outbound call is automatically logged and – depending on your Smart Number settings and local laws – can be recorded. Know your state’s consent rules.
