    • Avoid Redundancy: This prevents the need to manage prices in multiple places, saving you time and keeping your system running smoothly.
  2. Consistent Pricing Control:

    • Maintain Ownership: Ensuring that pricing updates are controlled by managers or owners means that you maintain consistency and control over your pricing strategy.

No need to worry! Here are some friendly, easy workarounds to help you manage pricing effectively:

Offering Special Discounts

Want to give a discount to a specific group (like Friends, Family, Military, Grandfathered customers)? Here’s a quick way to do it:

  1. Select the Service: Choose the service with its standard pricing.
  2. Save the Appointment.
  3. Generate Bill: Go back to the appointment and click Generate Bill.
  4. Apply the Discount: Add the discount to this pre-invoice.
  5. Checkout: When it's time to check out, use this discounted invoice linked to the appointment.

Voilà! Discount applied seamlessly.

Price Not Known At Appointment Time

Need to evaluate, consult, or diagnose before setting a price? Follow these simple steps:

  1. Create a Service: Add a service like "Consultation," "Diagnostic," or "Evaluation".
    • Set Price: If you charge for this service, input the price.
    • Variable Prices: For services with varying prices, set the price as $0.00.
  2. Complete the Evaluation: Meet with the client and perform your assessment.
  3. Generate Estimate or Bill: Create an estimate or pre-invoice by clicking Generate Bill or Generate Estimate on the appointment. This links the estimate or draft invoice to the appointment.

More Handy Workarounds:

  1. Set Price to $0.00:

    • Use the notes field on the appointment for special pricing details.
    • Create Estimates: Form an estimate and then create an appointment from this estimate!
  2. Special Labels:

    • Add codes or notes in the customer name field to denote special pricing.
  3. Custom Attributes:
